Every year, more than one hundred new hires join Ansaldo STS Western Europe, most of whom are young graduates.
Ansaldo STS has established relationships with schools and universities in order to provide them with a better understanding of the company environment and of transport systems. The company actively encourages its employees to teach in schools and regularly organises site visits with its partners (Ecole Centrale Paris, Supelec, Estaca, etc.).

MASTER'S in INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS ENGINEERING.
The Master's Programme has been designed to forge a link between academic establishments and industry, with the involvement of prestigious partner universities from around the world (see Notice & Brochure).
Fhink aims to develop students from high-potential graduates into world class professionals working in an international Business Engineering environment, potentially in the areas of (see Notice & Brochure):

The Master's Programme combines intensive learning path with an internship in one of the Finmeccanica Group Operating Companies, totalling approx. 1500 hours of full-time learning and development activities.
Depending on student's graduation scores and the skills they have acquired, Finmeccanica will offer them an opportunity within a Finmeccanica Group Company.
Finmeccanica also offers financial support to cover tuition fees, accommodation and living expenses (see Notice & Brochure).
The Master's Programme will be taught in English and held in Rome (Italy).

The world of rail travel is opening up and growing in a favourable context, since this means of transport is seen as one of the top priorities for sustainable development. This specialised Master's degree is for qualified engineers or young graduates looking to perfect their knowledge and gain an overview of transport systems and acquire specialist technical, economic, institutional and organisational knowledge. The programme is organised around a common core, with two options in management and systems engineering.
The UTC has joined forces with the "École des Ponts" to create a specialised Master's degree in Railway and guided Transport Systems for the academic year 2008 - 2009. The new course is an innovative initiative that brings together higher education establishments and a population looking for training in railway transport systems.
This Master's course brings together professional partners, operators, such as the SNCF and RATP, the French rail track agency, the Public Agency for Rail Transport Safety, industrial manufacturers belonging to the Federation of Railway Industries - including Ansaldo STS France - regional organising authorities and the centres of excellence "i-Trans et Ville" and "Mobilité durable".
Supported by the "École des Ponts" and the ENSIAME and accredited by the "Conférence des Grandes Ecoles", this specialised Master's degree also involves the UTC, "Centrale Paris", the "École Centrale de Lille" and the "École Nationale des Travaux Publics de l'État".
